Winter is starting to take a toll on my little Texas heart and I’m counting down the days to our tropical get away like it’s nobody’s business. I love coming to the blog to share what’s on my heart but to also be honest and open, share a little outfit inspo and hopefully style. So I will be completely honest. I have more than not about lost my mind with this winter, and it isn’t even a harsh one! But, the snow and the cold and my heart have felt like there is no end in sight from the ice, salt and below freezing temps. More tears flow in the month of January than necessary..
My new friend and very talented photographer Miroslav, happened to reached out and it was just what I needed to get my creative juices flowing. I think we spent equal time taking photos as we did warming up in our cars. The sun was shining but it was brutal on this day. Don’t get me wrong I love Minne, the people, the beauty of it all, but I have a bone to pick with winter. I feel like saying, “Thank you for coming, NOW LEAVE!”
But how beautiful is this setting? Yes it was freezing, but I love this whole shoot and this little ikat tunic is so chic and boho kinda felt like it was made for just me. The quality is fabulous and you should definitely check out Tolani because they have such beautiful items. I fell in love with the brand and the style instantly. I’m looking forward to wearing this tunic again in the summer at the lake paired with a little wedge. It is definitely giving me the hope I need to remember that spring is just around the corner!
