White Hot and in a LWD. I know they say white is inappropriate after Labor Day, but can we all be real here for a minute? I kinda don’t care! White looks good on everyone so why are we limited to such a short time to wear it? Growing up in the south you are practically hit over the head with the etiquette’s of “what to do” and more importantly “what not to do”. And one should never ever break the rules…Oops!
When I moved to LA (though it be short-lived) I felt like I was finally with “my people”. No more monograms, over the top bold prints, and polos. It was like I took that little rule book and booted it straight into the Pacific Ocean. And I honestly don’t know if I have ever felt so refreshed. It’s easy to toss the rules straight out the window when you’re cruising up and down the PCH in a bikini and jamming to the radio.
Don’t get me wrong, Texas is in me forever. A massive piece of me and I love the crazy ways down south but what I love even more are dresses.
