Springtime in Texas was so good for my soul. Something about going home and being with the people who know you best feels like a total recharge. Favorite moment was spending time sitting and chatting with my grandparents.
It was a very warm 85 degrees in TX, a far cry from the 40-degree temps I was welcomed back to in Minne. But I am finally ok with that. The shift in the weather and changing of the seasons always gives me so much hope. Knowing there’s an end in sight from snow and the cold winter weather while listening to the buzz of the city welcoming warm sunshine is really special. Hard to explain that energy and buzz too.
I wear dresses all season long because well that’s what I love to do! I wore one every single day in Texas because I could, and a great floral shift dress is pretty much appropriate year-round. The easy style and comfort would be great for work, travel, celebrations or just running around town. Paired with my favorite fringe lace up sandals, black fedora and a beautiful satchel bag this outfit is the quintessential spring ensemble. I have been trying to add a little more color to my wardrobe (a break from my typical neutrals) and this cheery floral print just screams hello spring.
