This post is hands down my favorite look from my session with Ellen Ashton. And also my favorite because of the inspiration that came from the dreamy word DIAPHANOUS. I find that I am often tempered. Tempered is such a perfect word too in the dictionary, meaning to be “qualified, lessened, or diluted by the mixture or influence of an additional ingredients.” How true is this for so many of us as we are influenced by our surroundings, others words, and emotions. I am easily tempered by others, not easily influenced, but definitely affected by energy and emotion. I can feel good energy in the air, I live for a really good connection with a friend discussing our deepest joys and fears, I find my biggest sources of inspiration will come when I am least expecting them to, and I love that most…
Which is why I feel like this word, Diaphanous, is my word. I want so badly to embrace it and be thankful that it found its way into my world and is now forever on my mind.
