Okay ladies, if you married a man like mine, then the odds of getting him to use anything other than soap and water are probably high on your list! I am constantly begging John to try new products. My undercover mission of sneaking new soaps in the shower for him to try is never-ending! It's like a toddler; they need to see, smell, and touch and then they like it.
I'm so excited to share this post with all of you because sometimes a girl needs her essential items. I find myself reaching for the same wardrobe staples over and over. Especially now that I am pregnant, a go-to button down or fabulous heel that will go with everything is critical.
30 weeks. Sounds like nothing in the grand scheme of things but let me tell you it’s a milestone I’ve been personally waiting to hit my calendar. I never understood the weeks of pregnancy until becoming pregnant. When women say, “Oh, I’m 16 weeks," and say it with more enthusiasm and joy than anyone knew to be possible, I thought why the drama! Can't you tell me how many months that is, please? But holy cow, the pregnancy world is on another level!!! Makes so much sense to me now that were in it! Every single week is extremely crucial in your pregnancy and your babies journey to this earth.
Today, I'd like to take you back to the charming city of Aurora, New York. Nestled on the shore of Cayuga Lake and home to Wells College, American Girl Doll owner Pleasant Rowland, has proudly brought attention to this quaint upstate getaway. Loads of history, story-book charm and one name you need to know, MacKenzie-Childs who make this city a total gem!
My favorite time of year has arrived! It's the official launch of cabin season. I still remember my first cabin trip north with John, and it's still what I most look forward to since moving to Minnesota. I like to joke that it’s the Midwest’s version of going to the Hampton's. Everyone piles in their cars and heads north on the weekends and Memorial Day marks the beginning of this most cherished time of year.
