Let me start this post by saying that when I moved here eight years ago, winters were no joke. Crocodile tears and sliding my way around town both on foot and in my sedan were common. So many of you have messaged me asking, "What do I wear when visiting Minnesota for the Super Bowl?" My answer, in short, is overpreparing, overpack, and wear all the layers.
So we have all been there, the dreaded question, "honey where do you want to eat?" Isn't the pressure of that one little tiny question the worst? My typical response, "I don't care, anything is fine!" Then the inevitable game of going back and forth making suggestions and throwing out new ideas feels like it never ends! And in the end, we usually just settle for takeout for lack of creativity! How annoying, how tragic!
I took a nice long break from the blog this past month. I decided to just soak up the time with my family, friends and loved ones. While watching the ball drop Sunday night, I kept thinking back on this year. All the things that have happened, good, bad, and the lessons I have taken from each along the way.
Does anyone else like to procrastinate when it comes to Christmas gifts? We are pretty bad around here at sending out any ideas or shipping our gifts out in time. You would think after making all the gift guides I have posted on the blog; it would be easy! I wish it were! I would much prefer to give than receive.
Who else loves online shopping? When it comes to selection, and the ease of being home cuddled up with the dogs, I will take an add to cart shopping day of the week! Today is an extraordinary day, and there are some severe Cyber Monday steals, so I am sharing my top deals and takes with you below! If you missed my Black Friday post, check it out here! A lot of those sales have rolled over into today as well!
